AgentStash is designed to make managing AI tool configs as simple as possible. Here’s what it offers.
Auto-Sync with Symlink Rebuilding
Section titled “Auto-Sync with Symlink Rebuilding”Push your configs to the cloud with one click. Pull them on another device just as easily.
When you set up a new machine, AgentStash automatically:
- Recreates the correct directory structure
- Sets up symlinks to connect your AI tools to the synced configs
- Gets you coding-ready in seconds
No manual copying. No remembering paths. Just sync and go.
Unified Hub
Section titled “Unified Hub”Your .agents/ directory becomes the single source of truth for all your AI tools.
Instead of configs scattered across:
~/.cursor/~/.claude/~/.codeium/windsurf/- … and dozens more
Everything lives in one place, organized and accessible. Skills, Rules, Commands — all synced across every device you use.
Version Control & Snapshots
Section titled “Version Control & Snapshots”Every sync operation automatically creates a snapshot of your configs before making changes.
This means you can:
- See what changed — Visual diff when configs conflict
- Roll back instantly — Restore any previous state with one click
- Never lose work — Even if you accidentally overwrite something
Think of it like Time Machine for your AI configs.
Smart Conflict Resolution
Section titled “Smart Conflict Resolution”When the same config changes on multiple devices, AgentStash handles it gracefully:
- Detection — AgentStash identifies which files have conflicting changes
- Visual Diff — See exactly what’s different between versions
- Resolution Options:
- Keep the local version
- Keep the remote version
- Merge changes manually

Custom Sync Control
Section titled “Custom Sync Control”AgentStash comes pre-configured for the most common resource types:
- Rules — Project and global rules
- Skills — Agent capabilities and behaviors
- Commands — Slash commands and macros
- MCP Configs — Model Context Protocol settings
But you’re in control:
- Toggle resources — Enable or disable specific types
- Add custom directories — Sync any files you want
